Onze Kolyma Honden - Our Kolyma Dogs : Ons B-Nest - Our B-Litter

Go Go Girl was een goede hard werkende teamhond.

We wanted to use Takkalik’s Alex of Anadyr again for breeding and with Go Go Girl of Kolyma (the twin sister of Gillis of Kolyma, we could hardly tell them apart) we thought it would be an excellent distant line-breed back into the Anadyr line. Go Go Girl was a good hardworking team-dog and we wanted a litter out of her before we let her go to Toni Schmidt (Denali Kennels), together with Benedicte of Kolyma, her daughter. Toni used both females for breeding and they did well in his Open Class team.

We let Blue go as a pup, but Bo, Björn and Barbara were broken in harness and stayed with us until we closed our kennel. They subsequently went to good competitive B teams and did well. Bon-Bon went to Sonja van Laar (Komac Sotokaya Kennel) who was very happy with her, as she too did well in her Open Class team and in breeding.

As we hoped, this litter stayed well within the Breed Standard, in conformation as well as type of breed and their offspring contributed to preserving the pure-bred Siberian Husky population in Europe.

At that time the import of Dunlap’s Zero Kennel dogs was becoming a problem, as questions were being asked about the genetic background of those dogs and this soon started to show in the outcome of their litters. This Alaskan Husky influence on the pure-bred Siberian Husky population in Europe was very controversial, and continues to show its impact to this day.
