Onze Kolyma Honden - Our Kolyma Dogs : Ons W-Nest - Our W-Litter

We kochten Blackey als pup omdat ze dezelfde ouders had als Red, maar een later nest. Ze had goede hoekingen en een erg leuk temperament. Haar vachtstructuur was wat hard - net als die van Red - en we waren uit op wat grotere honden in totaliteit dan Blackey zelf. Met Spot gaf ze ons dat en de vachten waren beduidend beter van structuur. Wobask was de beste hond uit het nest.

Spot was een Seppala hond in zijn achtergrond zowel aan vaders (sire) zijde (Suntar’s sire was Shango of Seppala) als moeders (dam) kant (Bilka was puur Seppala). Spotty had de typisch prachtige Seppala plushcoat en hoofd, zeer vriendelijk en sound temperament en de Anadyr conformatie. Hierin compenseerde hij vooral Blackey voor wat betreft haar vachtstructuur en haar formaat.

We got Blackey as a pup, she was out of the same parents as Red, but a later litter. She had good angulation all around and a sweet temperament. She had a somewhat rough coat texture - as was Red’s - and we were after somewhat larger dogs than herself, in overall size, in her litter. With Spot she gave us that, and the coats improved considerably. Wobask the best dog out of her.

Spot was strongly Seppala in background on both his sire (Suntar’s sire was Shango of Seppala) and dam’s side (Bilka was Seppala on both sire and dam’s side). Spotty had a typically beautiful Seppala plushcoat, typical Seppala head and lovely temperament, but the Anadyr conformation. In this he compensated Blacky specifically in coat structure and her overall size.
